I’m just calling because I’m coming into to town for a work conference that my work is sending me to and I was just looking at restaurants in the area so I did some checking and found this one here that you work at. And, uh, I was just wondering what time the dinner buffet starts?”

Airplane
Copper wire, wood base. I created this piece in late 2008. For this work, I aimed to convey both the industrial heaviness of an airplane, but also the cloudlike floating quality you feel when you’re in one.
